Pigging is not just about high-level inspection; rather, the basics of pipeline design and of utility pigging to accommodate the most mundane tasks, are in the long term probably even more important.

TRAINING OBJECTIVE :
After the course participant will :
a. Have a good aknowledge of pigging technology
b. Pigging operation and time calculation

TRAINING MATERIAL OUTLINE :
1. Pig trap doors: design, operation
2. Types of utility tool
3. Types of intelligent tool
4. Launch/receive trap design
5. Launching and receiving utility and intelligent tools
6. How to assess a tool’s performance
7. Signaling and pig location
8. Locating and reporting sample defects
9. Site safety: procedures and performance
